welcome to our beautiful city. tell us now, how exactly did you end up in sydney ? well ive lived here all my life, apart from a few rebellious trips to new york and los angeles to spend all my parents money. so Ive lived here all my life, and both my parents have lived here since they were kids too, so i grew up here, i didn't really get a choice in the matter, and i guess I'm glad, because i love sydney. what is the most importantant thing that happened to you ? the most important thing that happened to me, uh, well i guess it would be when my little cousin came to live with us. not that my parents ever treated her like she was there. when her parents died i kind of became like a mother to her, i got her ready for school, made her lunch, i still do since shes only six, but she changed me a little i think. now, tell us a bit about your background. social status, well my parents are two of the most well know lawyers here, so i guess you could say were pretty high in the social standards. I'm extremely rich, not just with my parents job, but also my grandparents, Ive also done some modeling stuff so I'm known for that as well. i guess what i want to say is were pretty elite compared to most. everyone has dreams and plans for the future, and you're surely no exception. tell us a bit about them, if you don't mind. dream and goals for the future. i think i just right now want to finish university, im in my freshman year and would like to actually graduate. other than that my real dream is to become a model. maybe have one or two kids, but the kids will wait for a while. and of course like any other girl i want to actually fall in love, if its possible for me to. what is a normal day like for you ? welll i wake up, get ready, get mia's lunch ready, get her up and ready, send her off to school, go to school, pick her up. then i drop her off at home and get ready for wherever im going that night, which usually changes depending on my mood. and then i go out come back home whenever and that starts all over again the next day. now, time for the last question. name three things you can't live without ? cell phone, my make up bag, and my handbag. if i leave without them i swear i have a breakdown.
hello, wl&c. this is rose and i'm one million. i'll be using emily didonato as a play by for my character, who is a university student. oh, by the way, you can reach me via msn or pm. and well, that's about it !
" it was dark, that was the first thing she noticed. Not the dark at night time, a darkness that lapped around her causing every limb in her body to lock in place. She didn't know the time, for it seemed irrelevant now. She could tell that they were waiting, no lights were on, but she needed none to know that they sat there, in the dark, just waiting for her to make a move, waiting for her to say or do anything, because when she did they would be on her. Noah never got nervous, for she feared nothing. She didn't fear running head on into a traffic filled street, she didn't fear death, and she especially didn't fear her parents. Sh had respected them once, respected who they were, but that respect had long since disappeared. She remembered a time when she had, had an actual family. She knew it had been many years since that time, but she wished to go back to those days. Noah knew that she would never go back to then, but recently she didn't feel as if she was moving forward. She felt lost, stuck in a way. She felt like she was falling into a darkness that she seemed unable to escape, no matter how hard she tried, it sucked her in. Her breathing was slow and steady, and the more relaxed she became, the more hard she could here therm breathing. When her mother stood up she couch hear the wood on the floor squeak under her pressure. As if it were screaming, run, Noah, run. But she didn't move. She stayed rooted to her spot, not showing weakness. As her mother drew closer she could smell a hint of alcohol on her breath, probably from many martini's like normal. Her own body turned so that she was facing her mother, and she could tell, even in the dark, that she frightened her mom more than her sister Marley did. Marley was innocent, she was so peaceful and good that Noah couldn't bare to see this happen to her. Her mother stopped in front of her, studying her features now that she could see her properly up close. Noah didn't flinch, didn't move her eyes from her mothers, didn't make a sound. Her mothers hand reached up to cup her daughters cheek, running her thumb down across her smooth skin. “if only you didn't kill him” the murmur was quiet, so quiet Noah wasn't even sure if she heard her correctly. Then the first blow came.
" pain coursed through her body, starting at her cheek and making its way down. She knew that one blow wasn't enough. Both her parents ha been drinking, both her parents were mourning, and it their eyes, her and Marley were the cause of their suffering. It had happened years ago, the accident. Her brother had been on the boat with them, she didn't exactly remember what he had been doing, but he fell of, it all seemed so surreal to her, she didn't remember her mother shouting, her father jumping, Marley crying. Noah remembered his limp body, his eyes searching for her as if to tell her take care of them, don't let them suffer. That was the last time she ever let herself even get close to breaking down, the last time she ever let herself feel. She became a wall, a thick wall that supported her sister. She had once tried to help her parents, to try and explain that it was no ones fault, but she had given up on them a long time ago. She had remembered the funeral, looking down as his vacant body, remembering Marley crying, her parents crying and she just stood there, as if she was somewhere else in spirit. She supposed she was, anywhere but there, she couldn't stand the way Marley seemed so helpless, so alone. She couldn't stand how her parents cried for the death of their eldest. So she built a wall and his behind it, and the wall was never broken, not even to this day. She didn't wince, she didn't cry, not even as her mom hit her, blow after blow. She took it, the bruises were a sign of strength, a sign that she could make it through even the worst of times. Her body seemed to be full of pain, there was no way to escape it, so she took it, she took the pain like it was medication, something that was suppose to help her. She could see her mothers cheek glistening with newly shed tears and pain punched her heart. She wanted to comfort her, she wanted to hold hr and say everything was going to be okay, and in that moment while she was beating her she could see a glimpse of her old mother.
" she felt her mother hesitate and look around, as if she wondered where she was. She saw her eyes return to her daughters and she saw pain flash across them. 'mommy” she whispered. She knew she was in there, buried way beneath the pain, her mother was still there somewhere. But just like that she was gone and the blows came more frequent with more urgency “don't ever call me that again” her scream echoed through the house and then she was gone. Noah lay there on the floor biting down on her bottom lip to hold back her emotions. Her mother seemed to know how to get past her guard, she knew how to get right to her heart and attack. She closed her eyes tightly before taking a deep breath and opened them again. Her father was still sitting where he was, a drink in his hand. “come here, baby girl” he whispered. Noah got up, ignoring the blood, ignoring the pain and walked over. She sat on his lap as he brushed her hair away and cried. She held him close, “don't cry, dad, don't cry” she whispered. He shook his head “I'm so sorry, so so sorry” he said. Kissing her forehead. “go, go get cleaned up” he whispered downing his drink and pouring another. She walked away and up the spiral staircase to her bedroom. She stood in the doorway, her eyes closing as she cleaned against the now closed door. She didn't know the condition she was in, but the most pain was to her face, and her ribs. She took small steps to the bathroom and closed the door, reaching up and flicking the light on. She stifled a gasp when she saw her reflection in the mirror. She had a small cut on her head that was bleeding, along with her lip and nose. She lifted up her shirt and saw bruises already starting along her stomach, and she guessed shed have a black eyes. Her eye was already swelling. She turned her face away from the mirror and ran a bath for herself. She wouldn't stay the night in her house, but before she went out she needed to wash all the blood off. She slowly stripped out of her clothes and stepped into the tub, sitting down in the warm water.
" it seemed like a long time later she was dressed and standing in front of her mirror. She was wearing a pair of light blue skinny jeans that had been faded from washing them so many times. Her shirt was white and long sleeve with holes at the bottom on the sleeve for her thumbs to go through. It was low cut, but pretty much her only long sleeve shirt she had. She ran her fingers through her hair grabbing her hoodie and pulling it over top before grabbing a bag and shoving whatever she could find in along with her cell phone, wallet, chargers, and keys. She made her way out of her room and down the stairs to the closet and pulled on her converse sneakers. She turned towards the end of the hallway, where her father stood, and turned for the front door walking out, ignoring her mothers voice telling her to come back. She broke into a run, ignoring the thin sheet of snow that covered the ground. She didn't know where she was going, where she would end up, but she needed to be away, get away, she needed to breath again. Pain coursed through her side each step she took, and as she pushed herself harder the pain became almost unbearable. She slowed to a stop holding her side trying to catch her breath. Her eyes scanned her surroundings, she was in a neighborhood, where she didn't exactly know. She walked over to the gas station that was across the street, it was one of those open twenty four hours, with a convenient store. She walked up to the wall leaning against it before sinking down into a sitting position, wrapping her arms around her knees, leaning against the wall. She refused to cry, she hadn't cried since she was little and she wasn't going to start now.
" she didn't know how long she had sat there, letting the snow fall on her. She was freezing but she refused to admit that, even to herself. When someone walked up to her she looked up, seeing the employee of the gas station. “are you okay, sweetheart” she heard the words ring through her head. She nodded slightly “I'm just waiting' she mumbled quietly. The lady nodded slightly and seemed to think she wouldn't say anything more so she walked back inside, Noah bit her lip looking around before grabbing her cell phone, searching through her contacts. She stopped on Teddy's name, pressing it, and sending him a text, where she was, and that she needed him to come get her. She pulled her hood up hoping that no one would see the bruising to her face, glad that the lady from before hadn't noticed. She put her phone back into her bag and stood up, ignoring the pain from her side, crossing her arms over her chest trying to use her body heat to stay warm. She just needed someone, and teddy seemed like the only one who wouldn't ask questions.
