welcome to our beautiful city. tell us now, how exactly did you end up in sydney ? i guess you could say im here mainly for the university.. what is the most importantant thing that happened to you ? honestly, my most life changing experience occurred rather recently. about a month ago i was at a party and drank so excessively that i was taken to the closest hospital. the alcohol poisoning was at nearly fatal levelsthe whole seriousness of the situation and how close i was to death really made me realize that i really cant just treat life with such recklessness. i cant really say that i wontever drink or make any mistakes in that vein again, but ill be more carely in evaluating the situations i put myself into.. now, tell us a bit about your background. eh i guess you could say my family is well-off? im not particularly good at gauging monetary social status. my dad own a few music shops and it brings in pretty good revenue, enough for a comfortable, and admittedly privileged lifestyle. despite that, my mother continues to work as a school teacher, as it brings her some sort of satisfaction. i guess in terms of status, my family would lie somewhere in mid/upper middle class. everyone has dreams and plans for the future, and you're surely no exception. tell us a bit about them, if you don't mind. well like most males my age, i'd say i need to "find myself". as painfully cliche that is for me to say its true. i really kinda regret the decisions i made in my first year and half in college. but i plan to pick up the slack and do something with myself. what is a normal day like for you ? i usually wake up pretty early - 5am, go for a run or a bike ride. after a light snack i start on my classes. following that i usually try to go out with friends or at my own place. other than that i read, write short stories. generally stuff that makes me sounds incredibly boring on paper, but perhaps more exciting in practice. now, time for the last question. name three things you can't live without ? coffee, ability to write/express, second chances..
hello, wl&c. this is summer and i'm sixteen. i'll be using sean o'pry as a play by for my character, who is a university student. oh, by the way, you can reach me via summerxstrawberry@yahoo.com . and well, that's about it !
Selena sighed softly as she left the dorm room building. The large towering buildings outside were a comforting sight for her. She had always lived in an atmosphere such as this. In fact, this was basically her hometown. Or her second one to be more exactly. She never really minded getting to bo back between NYC and Seoul during her childhood. Of course she had traveled to other places, but no places was like home. Or homes, in her case. Things had been so boring for the girl lately; most likely since she had been cooped up in her room for the past few days. She'd been focusing on making a new routine. Lena had started on a few moves, but hadn't picked a song yet. It seemed ass backwards to start without a song, but she had decided to do something different this time. She wasn't all that sure of how it affect her creativity, but thought it was worth a shot.
On this particular day, Lena was dressed in her usual somewhat flashy attire. A long sleeved striped tee covered her torso, somewhat loosely. A black pleated miniskirt covered her bottom half. She paired this outfit with her knee high patent leather boots. You should say that she looked rather nice today. But that was only taking her wardrobe into account. Her dark hair was slightly messy today. She didn't feel like spending another hour on her appearance doing her hair. Her make up was a bit darker than usual, and a rosy color of gloss graced her lips. Her heels clicked against the sidewalk rhythymically. Her iPod's earbuds were firmly secured in her ears as she lipsynched to the current song. She had made it a habit of doing this when she walked. It definitely got her a few stares, but she didn't really her. She had her whole 'I really don't give a damn' attirude with her today. Though it was always there, it was just more present today.
She then switched the song on her iPod; it was a bit more slow paced and she as well slowed her pace. Selena looked about, still trying to decide where she wanted to go. She then decidedo n Central Park, one of the most beautiful places around. Besides, she hadn't been in a while. She continued to walk along the street, 'walking' to the beat and at the same time, getting in others' way. As the park came into better view, she crossed the street quickly, her skirt blowing in the breeze as she ran. She continued to make her way towards the park, her hair even messier than before. She attempted to fix it a bit, positioning her bangs in their proper position. Selena walked into the entrance of the park, seeing the many people there as it usually way crowded.
Lena then stopped and took in how really crowded it was. Lena had a thing about personal space. Even in a place like New York, she still liked her space. And from where she could see it was quite crowded. She didn't feel like walking too far eithe, since she had been doing that for the last twenty minuts and these heeled boots were starting to get to her. She glanced around trying to find an area that wasn't crowded or a bench that was preferrably empty. When she realized she wasn't going to find what she wanted, a slight frown crossed her lips. But she could see a young guy , around her age she assumes sitting alone. That was about as empty as it was going to get. A soft sigh left her lips and she started walking over to where he was seated.
Less that a foot away from him, Lena cleared her throat before speaking. "Um, do you mind if I sit here?" she asked. It was a bit awkward to ask, as she didn't wait for his answer. She seated herself on the bench and lifted her foot halfway out of her left boot and rubbed it lightly. Oddly enough she was able to dance in high heels for a much longer time than she could walk in them. Selena then looked over at the guy, noticing a slight frustration in his expression. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to sit here. She really didn't need another person pissed at her. Selena though to herself for a few moments, trying strike up some converation. Nothing came to mind yet, so she gave him a small grin before turning the volume on her ipod lower.
